Dam tilted uterus

We went in for our monthly check up with our OBGYN and she said everything looks great. Apparently I have a tilted uterus which means instead of going up and down mine tilts back towards my pelvis. It should correct itself as the baby gets bigger. In the meantime it makes it hard to see the baby when doing an ultrasound on top of the stomach. On the bright side the Dr said that my hemorrhage has reabsorbed and isn't showing up anymore. I am very excited about this because it did have me worried for a time there. Its so weird to watch the little baby jumping around in there without me feeling a thing. I feel gassy air bubbles on a frequent basis but can't feel a jumping bean floating around in there, how strange. We should get to find out if its a boy or a girl at 20 weeks which by my calculation is April 23 (that day can't come fast enough). Justin was releaved to see that the baby seems to have 2 arms and 2 legs. We didn't get to hear the heart beat today because her dopplar wouldn't pick it up because of my dam tilted uterus. I am going back for a second shot at the screening on Friday so hopefully the baby will be in the right position this time. I am planning on telling my boss this week which should be interesting.
Until next time :-)
