Health Update

So I haven't posted much about Jordyn's health because we have been dealing with so much and didn't really know what was going on. When I took Jordyn to her GI appointment last week we started talking about Jordyn's torticollis (twisted neck). She seemed to think that the episodes that Jordyn keeps having where she wakes up screaming in pain, vomiting and holding her neck weren't signes of normal torticollis. That along with her growing head circumference and she also feels her forehead might be sticking out it gave her reason for concern. She contacted our pediatrician and spoke with her about her findings. Later that day Justin and I went to see the pediatrician and she agreed with the GI Dr and thinks that Jordyn should see a Neurologist at Childrens Hospital of Oakland. The waiting list to get in to see a Dr over there can be months long, thankfully, her GI used to work there and called in and spoke to a Dr on our behalf. I got a call today and they have schedule us for an EEG (brain activity monitoring) and then an appointment with a Dr on Feb 3rd. I am super nervous about having to go through all this but am hoping that the end result is that everything is going to be OK. At the same time I am really glad that we are going to be getting the best care to find out if there is any issues. I will try and keep all the updates posted as we find out more. Keep your fingers crossed for my little goose. I'm sure everything will be fine but it can be a little scary at times.
Everything else seems to be going well. She has us wrapped around her little fingers. All she has to do is smile and we melt everytime. She has started putting everything in her mouth and talking all the time. She enjoys her daily bath and then our little snuggle during bottle time. Being a mom to this little girl is the most amazing thing in the world for me. She may have only been here 4.5 months but I can't remember life without her.
